The GFit Trainers
Originally from Miami, Oscar has been involved in sport and fitness as a “way of life” from an early age. Through his mentors, he excelled in wrestling in high school and at Michigan State University. In college Oscar was able to coach a youth wrestling program. He helped each child to perfect their wrestling technique and give them motivation to train for success. The children were so happy to have someone to help and that’s when he knew he wanted to be a coach/trainer.
After college Oscar joined the U.S. Navy and was deployed to the Persian Gulf on the USS Nimitz. While serving his country, he saw himself again in a position to help. His fellow sailors would approach him with fitness questions. Eventually, he became the physical fitness trainer of his command designing the workouts and programs.
The Navy brought him to sunny San Diego. Oscar decided to stay and become a personal and group fitness trainer and youth wrestling coach.
In addition, Oscar volunteers at Hoover high school as a wrestling and strength & conditioning coach. He feels it’s a way to for him give back by helping young students achieve success just like he did.
“If you have the will, I’ll find you the way!” – Oscar

Jeff Crabb attributes his experience in the Healthcare industry for his passion for helping people get and stay fit. After many years of sitting at a computer desk as a computer engineer for several large corporate health systems, he discovered the healing powers of yoga and its ability to relieve pain and sharpen mental acuity.
With his 20 years of experience in hospitals, Jeff’s goal is to keep his clients OUT of that environment, having seen too many people hospitalized with medical conditions that can be controlled, alleviated, or reversed with proper nutrition and exercise. Jeff’s primary focus is helping older adults maintain wellness and improve their activities of daily living through functional fitness.
Jeff holds a business degree in Information Systems and is certified as both a Certified Personal Trainer, American Council on Exercise and TRX Suspension Training Level 1 coach.
Coach Corey is a National Academy Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. He’s experienced in a variety of exercise and takes pride in educating and enhancing a client’s biomechanics and performance.

He’s also an aspiring physical therapist and hopes to implement his knowledge and expertise to our facility. He believes that, “Exercise is the most important forms of medicine and should be implemented within our daily lives.
